To achieve that, an intensive exchange between researchers and societal stakeholders is necessary and to ensure this exchange the project is accompanied by a transdisciplinary advisory board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advisory Board<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The board is built of important stakeholders from the Viennese urban agro-food system and will continuously evaluate the research progress and provide important inputs for the single research activities.<\/p>\n<p>The following organizations are currently represented within the Advisory Board:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arbeiterkammer Wien<\/li>\n<li>Biogast<\/li>\n<li>Ern\u00e4hrungsrat Wien<\/li>\n<li>Institut f\u00fcr Soziale \u00d6kologie<\/li>\n<li>Landwirtschaftskammer Wien<\/li>\n<li>Landwirtschaftskammer Nieder\u00f6sterreich<\/li>\n<li>Landwirtschaftskammer \u00d6sterreich<\/li>\n<li>Magistratsabteilung 22 (Umweltschutz)<\/li>\n<li>Magistratsabteilung 24 (Gesundheits-, und Sozialplanung)<\/li>\n<li>REWE \u00d6sterreich<\/li>\n<li>Umweltbundesamt<\/li>\n<li>Wirtschaftskammer Wien, Landesinnung Lebensmittelgewerbe<\/li>\n<li>World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Wien<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition \u201eFuture of Urban Food\u201c engages stakeholders in various other ways doing so, contributes to a societal discourse about the future of the WUAFS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We survey and communicate the social acceptance of different food habits<\/li>\n<li>We create together with several extended stakeholder groups scenarios for the WUAFSs in the year 2048<\/li>\n<li>We discuss those scenarios in numerous ways with Viennese citizens<\/li>\n<li>We develop concrete recommendations for politics and city administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201eThe Future of Urban Food\u201c aims to produce results that are relevant for society and to foster the discourse about the further development of the Viennese Urban Agro-food System.
